How to Download Series and Upload to Touchpad
Hello, I'1000 Virginia an independent counselor with xx years of expertise in fixing my own & friends' PC bug.
Which Windows version are you running - 1809, 1903 or 1909?
Is the touchpad listed under device manager>Mouse/Mice?

I am running a 1909.
Under mouse is simply "ELAN pointing device". Previously, there was touchpad and touchscreen, but subsequently uninstalling touchpad I can't seem to get it to reaper.

That should be the touchpad.
Did y'all have a synaptics/Elan tab under Mouse settings merely information technology's no longer in that location?
You may require this to configure the touchpad with 1909:

This package installs the software (Touchpad commuter) to enable thefollowing device. Lenovo pointing device
***Above is the touchpad driver I was trying to install, merely the catastrophe states "lenovo pointing device". so is this a bear on pad or is this a secondary component that makes the touch pad arrow more authentic?
What I am seeing.
As previously stated, no touchpad listed under device manager. And so under settings I clicked touchpad, then additional options. When the pop upward occurs it says mouse properties at the peak and the icon bar, on the lesser of the screen, shows a mouse.
The same tabs/information applies when I click "additional settings" under mouse. So information technology is like I completed erased the touch pad and mouse settings filled in.

You say you recently got the device dorsum - from where?
If information technology has been in a repair shop and then the technician may not accept reconnected the wires for the touchpad correctly or dislodged them.

Thanks for yhe assistance but information technology did not resolve the issue. As previously stated, i iupdated the driver to affect/mive the screen. This plus plugging in a mouse basically allows me to click/drag and correct click options. Will exercise for now. Thank you for all your assistance.
